Milan has 15 years experience as a financial advisor and has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families build better financial strategies. His professional journey began in the late 1990s with a consulting firm in the financial services industry, and he achieved the globally sought Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1994. In the early 1990s, he joined a subsidiary of Thomson Reuters, where he developed an electronic network that distributed research and data to Canada’s largest fund managers, teaching them how to leverage technology for more informed investment decisions

Milan enjoys building close, long-term relationships with his clients. His collaborative and goal-oriented approach stems from his lifelong passion for sports, particularly track and field where he was a top-ranked decathlete and hurdler in the early 1980s, winning several national titles. As a financial coach, he now helps clients set realistic goals, develop actionable plans, and execute those plans to achieve lasting financial success. 

Outside of work, Milan remains active with his wife and three daughters, participating in alpine ski racing, cycling, tennis, and golf. While his work takes him between Toronto and Sudbury during the week, he can often be found in Collinwood, enjoying the outdoor activities the region offers.

Karrie-Ann joined the Forte Wealth Management team in 2024 as a client services coordinator. Karrie-Ann graduated from Cambrian College’s Public Relations program in 2004. Since graduating, she has worked under the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health. She started her career implementing the first Jazz Festival held locally in Sudbury. 

Karrie-Ann is a proud mother to a teenage son and greatly values time spent with her family and friends. Karrie was raised in Northern Ontario and loves getting to know her community. Some of her hobbies include hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, and any time spent in nature. She also enjoys photography and her time visiting Manitoulin Island.

Michaela joined the Forte Wealth Management team in 2023 as the Administrative Assistant. She works closely with Milan and clients to ensure the accurate processing and completion of all business administration. Michaela is also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office, such as responding to client inquiries and concerns, preparing documents for client account reviews, and general administrative support to the team,

In 2022, Michaela graduated from Western University in London with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Criminology. Working at Forte Wealth Management has given Michaela the unique experience of learning the financial industry hands on. She looks forward to the opportunity to further her education and career in finance. 

In her downtime, Michaela enjoys spending quality time with her partner and their dog Stevie. Most weekends you will find them hiking one of Sudbury’s many beautiful trails. When not enjoying the great outdoors, she often spends her free time curled up on the couch with a cup of coffee and a good book.
